LIDO AMMAZZINI Lido Ammazzini died Thursday, November 3, 2005 at home at the age of 73 years. He was born in Villa Basilica, Toscana, Italy, and emigrated from Belgium with his wife, Carmela in 1954. He was predeceased by Carmela and his parents, Gino and Eda. Lido leaves to mourn his sons, Gino (Violet) and Mario; daughter Elisabetta; grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Riccardo, Deena, Mario Jr., Angelina, Isabella, Dana and five great-grandchildren. Brothers, Reno (Emilie), Enrico (Ernesta); sisters in Italy, Pia (Dominico), Isolina (Antonio); brother-in-law Joseph Rizzo (Nicoletta) and their families in Winnipeg, also in-laws in Rome and Belgium, as well as many friends. He worked hard all his life and gave a helping hand to many people. He enjoyed playing the harmonica, bocce and lawn bowling. Prayers will be held on Friday, November 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church. Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., Winnipeg, MB. May He Rest in Peace.
