ERNEST R. DYCK Ernest R. Dyck passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, December 17, 2005. Ernie will be forever missed by his wife Jane Maslanka; his daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Gordon Carey of Victoria, Canada; his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Dyck and Karla Rogers; and granddaughter Sydni Kate Dyck of Tulsa. Also grieving are four siblings, Irene with husband Len, Victor with wife Sylvia, Erika with husband David and Karin. Also special to his life were his in-laws and many beloved friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Helen and August. Ernie grew up in Springstein, MB and received his Law degree from the University of Manitoba in 1963. He practised law in Steinbach, MB for 18 years, founding the law firm, Dyck, Smith Neufeld. After his successful law career, he founded an oil production company, Mantex, Inc., of which he was President until his passing. During the 13 years he lived in Tulsa, he touched countless lives with his generous, enthusiastic, and loving spirit. Service was held on Wednesday, December 21, at St. John's Episcopal Church.
