REVEREND DR. JOSEPH C. MACK December 8, 1919 - August 15, 2005 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. - II Timothy 4:7-8 Rev. Joseph C. Mack, aged 85, departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2005 in Warrensburg, Missouri, U.S.A. Rev. Mack was born in Rutherford County, Tennessee, and began his pastoral ministry in Canada in 1950. During his years in Canada (1950-2002), he served as pastor to Pilgrim Baptist Church in Winnipeg, MB, First Baptist Church in Neepawa, MB, and Cornwallis Street Baptist Church in Halifax, NS. In 1980, he was appointed to the Order of Canada. He retired in 1990, and spent his retirement years in Sarnia, ON. Funeral and burial services were conducted in Murfreesboro, TN. Dr. Mack is survived by two sons, Bob (Judy) Mack and Gerald Mack; two daughters, Dianne Mack and Cheryl Mack; two step-daughters, Deborah (Garnett) Davis and Cheryl (Jimmy) Williamson; five grandchildren, Joseph Mack, Jordan Williamson, Jerrod, Justin, and Jessica Davis; one brother, Cecil Mack; and a host of relatives and friends.
