DAVID GUENETTE Peacefully on February 15, 2007 at Foyer Valade, David Guénette passed away at the age of 86 years. David leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving children, Raymond (Lorraine), Louise (Chuck) Gentes, Madeleine (Ken) La France, Yvonne (Ben) Kjartanson, Richard, Michel (Angie); son-in-law Marc Granger, and daughter-in-law Leona Guénette. David also leaves to mourn his 17 grandchildren; René (Abby), Shannon, David, Joëlle, Johnnie (Kristina), Pierre (Melissa), Tim, Carmelle, Nikki, Bryce, Chyanne, Mathieu, Charles, Christopher, and also three great-grandchildren; Marina, Morgan, and Ethan. He also leaves two brothers, Marcel (Ghislaine), Jacques (Lucienne), and one sister-in-law Gisèle Guénette. He is predeceased by his first wife Thérèse, (nee Lahaie) and second wife Béatrice (nee Boulet); his daughter Pauline Granger; son Gilles; two grandsons Daniel La France, Harley Guénette, and two brothers Simon (Rose), and Camille. Dad worked for Red River and Searle Grain, and was also employed by St. Norbert High School, St. Charles Academy and Convent. Dad loved to travel, fish, and most of all he loved the great outdoors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society Manitoba, 171 Donald Street, Suite 302, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4. Viewing will be held in the St. Norbert Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday February 20, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. with funeral mass to follow at 7:30 p.m., Fr. Antoine Vo Van Hoa officiating.
