ERNEST SCHINDEL

ERNEST SCHINDEL With sadness our family announces the sudden, unexpected passing of Ernest (Ernie) Schindel on July 3, 2007, at the age of 68. Beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He will be missed greatly by his children Lucy (Ron), Kevin and William, and their mother Mary Bittern (Tony). He also leaves to mourn his 11 grandchildren, sisters, brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie was predeceased by his mother Lydia Schindel in 2004, his father Friedrich in 1976, and brother Artur in 1998. A very special thanks to Lucy's husband's brother Dalton Fredericks and his wife Linda for all they've done during this time. For those who knew him, lovingly remember how he enjoyed being at City Place for coffee during the week and Club 60 on the weekend. His presence there will be missed. Ernie was an easy-going, kind and friendly person. He was there for his children every day. Words cannot express how much his two sons Kevin and William will miss him, as well as his daughter Lucy who all kept in touch with him. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Viewing one half hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens. Dad, we love you so much. All those who knew you, love you. Although you're not present with us, in our hearts you will forever live.
