JAKE HILDEBRAND Accidentally on Tuesday, August 21, 2007, Jake Hildebrand, aged 65 years, beloved husband of the late Dale Hildebrand (nee Peckover), of Sperling, Manitoba. Jake was born in Sperling and will be deeply missed by his son Jason Hildebrand, daughter Shannon Harms (Tim) and granddaughter Madison. Jake is survived by brothers Hank Hildebrand (Dora), Dave Hildebrand (Edna deceased), sisters June Trawick (Ian), Jean Kennedy, Marian Friesen (John), Anne Fredriksen, brothers-in-law Dennis Peckover (Jackie), Gord Zarychanski, and many nieces and nephews. Jake was predeceased by his parents David and Annie Marie, sister Catherine, and brother Peter. Jake was an easy going, fun-loving, carefree person. Family and friends were very important to him. He was the best husband, dad and grandpa anyone could ask for. Jake spent 42 years as a long haul transport driver, providing well for his family. He always took the time to be home for important family events, such as hockey games, dance recitals, graduations, and family reunions just to name a few. Jake was an avid sports fan (hockey, football, baseball and Nascar). He also enjoyed camping and his top priority was making sure his satellite dish was working. Jake had recently moved back to his hometown of Sperling and was really happy in his new home. He enjoyed seeing his old friends and making new ones. He will be missed by his many friends and especially the Sperling gang. We will all miss him but we will never forget him.
