GLEN JOHN GLOWICKI May 25, 1950 - December 29, 2007 Glen went to be with his Lord on December 29, 2007, passing peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Winnipeg, spent his life here and was a business systems analyst at Bristol Aerospace for over 20 years. He was well known for his dry sense of humor, integrity and for his great love; he loved God, his family and friends, and his cats. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pauline Glowicki. He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie and son Mark; brother Albert (Joan) and their five children; brother Lorne (Veronica) and their five children; parents-in-law Ross and Dorothy Hilton; sister-in-law Shari (Jerry) Peoples and their four children; grandmothers-in-law Jessie Hilton and Eleanore Roehl; cousins June Obirek, Pat Kryschuk, Joyce Anderson, Gladys Erickson and families, as well as numerous other cousins and relatives. He was deeply loved by all that knew him. Glen's family wishes to express their extreme appreciation to: The staff at St. Boniface ICU for their compassion and kindness during his final days; The staff at Seven Oaks Dialysis Unit and Selkirk Home Care for their ongoing support; The staff at Health Science Center Transplant Unit for their care through the years; Caregivers: Pauline Kizlyk, Lois Brinks, Alexis Giles and Lorna Lewis for everything. We also want to express a special thank you to the family who in February, 1987, during their own time of tragedy and loss, allowed their loved one to be an organ donor. Due to their unselfish gift of life, Glen was able to marry, raise a child and have an additional twenty productive years. Most of all we offer thankful and grateful hearts to God who has been so faithful to us through the years. We thank Him for the times He raised Glen up from critical illness and extended his life. We also thank God for His mercy in allowing Glen to pass easily from this life to His eternal kingdom. Our lives have been truly blessed for the time we have been allowed to share with Glen. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Christian Life Assembly Church, 1042 Jefferson, Winnipeg. Viewing two hours prior to service.
