DOROTHY MARY VASEY Peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Charleswood Care Center, Dorothy Mary Vasey died at the age of 87. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Catherine and George Marlin, Anne Dunlop and special friend George Morrissette, and Heather and Gary Yakimoski and their families. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy is also survived by her two sisters, Phyllis Blair and Aileen Burridge. Mum was predeceased by her first husband Lt. James Black, her second husband Ross Vasey, daughter Jane Vasey, daughter Rose Ferries, son-in-law Ian Dunlop and her brother Edward Eckton. A Memorial Service will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home on Saturday, February 2 at 3:00 pm. The service will be conducted by the Reverend Mona Denton.
