ANGELA MARGARET PRITCHARD Peacefully, with family by her side, Angela passed away in the early hours of December 18, 2010. Left to cherish her beautiful memory is her devoted husband of 56 years, Murray Pritchard. Together, Angela and Murray raised six children; five sons, Campbell (Ocean) of Winnipeg, Paul (Faith) of Thompson, Stephen of Stonewall, Dennis (Sandy) of Saskatoon, Charles (Cathy) of Calgary, and one daughter, Margaret (Dean) Ward of Stonewall. Angela was thrilled to be Grandma to Jonathon (Lyndsey) and Jeff (Kim) Ward; Dan and Andrew Pritchard; Claire, Becky and Sarah Pritchard; and Annie, Tom and Matt Pritchard; and great-grandma to William, James and Gavin. Angela is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Joan McNeill of Edmonton and Jean McNeill of Oakville. Angela was predeceased by her parents; infant sister, Mary; brothers and sister-in-laws Sandy and Patricia McNeill, Dennis and Merle McNeill, A/B Bernard McNeill RCNVR, Daniel McNeill, Patrick McNeill; beloved sister, Florence (Dodie) McNeill; and brother-in-law, Harold Pritchard. Angela was born in Brandon on April 10, 1927, the fifth child of Angela and H.A. (Sandy) McNeill. Angela received her education at St. Michael's Academy in Brandon and was employed at Sutherland Agencies Ltd, Brandon before marrying the love of her life on April 17, 1954. Angela worked as a clerk at the Stonewall Post Office for 12½ years prior to her retirement in 1989. Angela truly loved her work with Canada Post as she loved to meet new people and form new friendships. Following their retirement, Murray and Angela spent 12 years in Weslaco, Texas and Mesa, Arizona during the winter months and formed many new lifelong friendships. A special thank you to all of our real-life angels' who made it possible for Angela to stay in the home she was so comfortable in with the man she loved right up to the day of her passing we could not have done it without you each one of you have been a blessing in our lives. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King Church in Stonewall. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, December 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Stonewall. Angela had a strong will, a determined outlook, and an unwavering and comforting faith. She loved Christmas and was looking forward to celebrating with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren! This Christmas Angela will be celebrating with the Lord in whom she had such faith and with her family and friends that have gone before her. She will, of course, be watching as those of us left behind celebrate all that she brought to our lives. Gone is the face we loved so dear, Silent is the voice we loved to hear, Too far away for sight and speech, But not too far for thought to reach.
