ROSE KABECZ April 13, 1928 - January 30, 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the passing away of our beloved, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She now resides in the most secure dwelling place; the memory of our Creator. Rose was predeceased by her husband Roman; parents, John and Paulina Kalichuk; her brother Louie, and her sisters Adeline, Victoria and Zenia. Left to forever cherish her memory are her sons Ken (Donna) and Randy (Sherri); grandsons Chad, Tyler (Brenna) and Braden (Laurin); her brothers Alfred, Walter, Len, Mervin, and her sisters Josephine and Ollie along with many other relatives, spiritual brothers and sisters and friends. Rose will always be remembered for her selfless and generous spirit. She was very loving, kind and a wonderful cook who so enjoyed entertaining and socializing with family and friends. She had a very strong sense of family, working tirelessly and passionately in the interests of her husband and children. But one of her greatest qualities was her love for others, being a source of strength and encouragement to so many that she knew. Rose had a strong religious conviction and held very close to her heart God's promise of the resurrection of those who are asleep in death. She now awaits the time when all those in the memorial tombs (God's memory) will hear his voice and come out to a resurrection of life. John 5:28, 29. We are all very grateful for the happy times and the warm memories that we individually experienced with Rose. She will be sorely missed. The family also wishes to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, the kind and loving care that Rose received from the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home especially during the twilight of her precious life. Out of respect for Rose's firm request, there will only be a private family service.
