DESIDERIO MARINELLI Funeral Liturgy was Celebrated on Monday evening, February 6, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano, presiding. For those who wished viewing was held prior to the Liturgy. In accordance with Desi's wishes, Divine Liturgy and Entombment will be Celebrated and held at a later date in his beloved St. Giorgio Teramo, Italy.

DESIDERIO MARINELLI Peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2012, Desiderio Marinelli passed away at St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous and lengthy fight with illness. Desi will be lovingly remembered by his wife Maria of 64 years of marriage; three daughters; two sons; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a vast extended family and friends. On April 6, 1926, Desiderio was born in Italy and came to Canada in 1965 to follow his dreams. He was a smart man with a joy of life and a cunning ability to lift everyone's spirit. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated on Monday evening, February 6, 2012 at 7:30 p.m., in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano, presiding.
