AMY FRIEDA BLAKER (nee BENGE) Passed away peacefully at the Tri Lake Health Centre in Killarney, MB on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 91. Amy was born in Killarney on May 19, 1920 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benge, the youngest of a family of seven. She was educated in Killarney and on leaving school she went to Winnipeg and took a business course and worked for many different companies. She met and married Charles T. Blaker in 1948, and lived in Winnipeg for many years. They had one daughter Heather Blaker. In 1982 Amy moved back to Killarney and resided in the Ellis Apartments until her move to Lakeview Gardens in 2010. Amy always enjoyed family get togethers, and had many interesting hobbies. She had companionship with George Baldock and enjoyed his company as well as his family on many occasions. Amy was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charlie in 1981, four sisters Alice, Nellie, Kate and Gladys and two brothers Ernie and Art Benge. Amy leaves to mourn her death one daughter Heather of Denver, CO, a niece Mary Fedorowich and family as well as many nieces and nephews.
