LINDA GREEN

LINDA MARGARET GREEN (nee STIMPSON) 1948 - 2012 Linda passed away at home during the evening hours of Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Kathleen (Kay) Stimpson. She will be sadly missed by her husband Dave, brother David and other family members and friends. Linda's second family was a strong community group of people she came to know at Regents Park United Church. Linda thoroughly enjoyed travelling with this group and she formed many life-long friendships with the members of this community. Linda retired from the Province of Manitoba in 2003. Prior to this, she worked in the Bankrupcy field in Winnipeg and Edmonton. Linda loved anything to do with family or her church group. She enjoyed planning and carrying out special events like Christmas dinners, birthday and travel. She was always there whenever her family and friends needed her. Linda loved travelling with Dave on their many excursions. Whether it was wintering in Texas, or cruising the Mediterranean, Linda couldn't wait for the next trip. She believed in working hard throughout your life and reaping the rewards later.
