HENRY FRIESEN

HENRY M. (H.M.) FRIESEN H.M. Friesen aged 84 years of Halbstadt, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Altona Health Care Centre on Friday, April 27, 2012. Left to cherish his memory, is his beloved wife Susan; daughters Jenny (Jim) Hildebrand; Vivian (Vern) Falk; Rhonda (Marv) Abraham; sons Orlando (Shelley); Wally (Sandy); Howard (Barb); 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Altona, Manitoba with interment to follow in the Halbstadt Cemetery. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home Altona on Monday, April 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In memory of H.M. Friesen donations may be made to Ebenezer Home Building Project available at the church. Wiebe Funeral Home Altona Ltd. 204-324-5404 in care of arrangements.

  • My Sincere Condolences to the entire family. Growing up I spent many sleep overs at the Friesen home and was always welcomed by everyone. I remember Mr. Friesen coming from the fields late at night and he always had a smirk on his face as if he was going to start teasing us girls. My Prayers and Thoughts are with you all during this trying time. May God be with you.
