JOHN SOLOMON It is with great sorrow the family of John Solomon announce his passing on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Swan Valley Health Centre in Swan River, MB. He leaves to cherish many fond memories, his wife Joy, their children, grandchildren and many relatives and friends. A funeral service for John will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel in Dauphin, MB. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Elk's Fund for Children.   • I have enjoyed working with John these past few years and gained great respect for his thoughtful approach to retired teachers' issues and to life, in general. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to his wife and family.
