LAWRENCE MARCEL DE MEYER March 15, 1946 - June 9, 2012 On June 9,2012 Laurie died peacefully at home after his battle with brain cancer. Left to remember him are his wife, Catharina Honneff and children Amber and Nathan. Also surviving him are his mother-in-law W.Honneff, sister-in-law Petra Honneff (Jason and Robyn) as well as the extended De Meyer and Honneff families in North America and Europe. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcel L. De Meyer and Isabel Jackson and father-in-law Peter Honneff. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the Colonello Room at the Elmhurst Golf and Country Club, Garven Road on June 19, 2012 from 12:00 Noon till 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, may make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or charity of their choice
