• I was fortunate to share in many celebrations as David graduated from Grant Park High, turned 18, the big 21, obtained his university degree, and most special to me - his marriage to Pam. David, you had so much love in you - for Pam, for your pets - the ferrets,cats and your dog, for your family and friends as well for your beloved Jets. You reached for the stars in every effort of your too brief life. I just know you and Grandpa Kehler will cheer your team from above. To Pam, Alexis and Barry as well as the rest of your family and friends, you have my deepest sympathy. The world became a better place because of you and your determined spirit. • I knew Dave when he sat on the board of ILRC. He was a wonderful man and will truly be missed. My condolences to his loved ones.

• I played in an online hockey league (Bill Corfield's CCHL) against Dave for about 4-5 seasons, including our most recent. I was always impressed with Dave's candor and professionalism despite our league being for fun. In fact, Dave Kehler was a model participant who I wish I had had even more interaction with. He will be sorely missed, but I am very happy to know that he was able to see the return (and attend a game) of his beloved Winnipeg Jets! I'm very sorry for your loss.

• I knew David from an internet BBS that we both frequented for almost a decade now. I have some difficult medical issues, and David was very supportive and encouraging to me during some dark times. He has been very much an inspiration for me and a source of a lot of wisdom and humor. He loved life and took so much joy from it and his family and friends. He knew what was important in life and gave of himself selflessly. I am going to miss him and his sensible advice so much. My condolences to all his family and friends..just know he touched hearts all over the world and his absence will be felt far and wide.

• David was a relentless believer in the return of NHL hockey to Winnipeg and tremendous supporter of JetsOwner.com. His passion was admired and his loyalty never forgotten. I am glad I finally got to meet David on June 3rd, 2011...the day all of us "believers" got to celebrate the return of our home town hockey team. There's an extra seat in MTS Centre now for you David. Best seats in the house. You'll be with all of us at each and every game. Peace.

• I met David in 2008 and in the time I was privileged to spend with him and his family, I relished having their presence in my life. We had terrific conversations about Blue Bombers Football, Jets Hockey, computer hardware and software, console gaming, Sci-Fi, movies, and even cooking. It was David and his wife Pamela's intervention one day that resulted in me learning how to make what has become my "famous" chilli (really Pam should get all the credit). I enjoyed many a time accompanying David and Pam walking their dog Moxie in their neighbourhood in the exchange, and watching Bombers games and movies at their place. I am already missing David enormously, though I am blessed with the memories of the wonderful times we spent together, online and offline.
