PAULINE SHACKLADY Pauline Shacklady, 86, of Winnipeg, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre, Palliative Care facility in Winnipeg, on June 13, 2012. Pauline was born to Jacob and Elizabeth Schwartzkopf on November 13, 1925, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Pauline is survived by her sister, Freda, of Edmonton, AB, and brother William of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her loving daughters Vicki-Lynn (Glenn) and Terry-Anne (Kimo), granddaughters Lori (Craig) and Sheri-Lynn (Grant), and great-grandchildren Brianne and Everett. Pauline will also be missed by her nephew Robert, his wife Gail, and their family along with many other extended family members. She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed as a part of their lives. In addition to her parents, Pauline was predeceased by her husband, and love of her life, William (Bill) Shacklady, and siblings: Lydia, Bertha and Jack. The family would like to thank Dr. P. Harris, her Home Care and Palliative Care nurses, and the staff at Riverview Palliative Care 3East, especially Barbara, for their caring and compassion. In accordance with Pauline's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Pauline's life will take place June 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in Pauline's memory to either the Riverview Health Centre or CancerCare Manitoba. 586-8044
