ELIZABETH FRIESEN

ELIZABETH (BETTY) FRIESEN Suddenly on June 16, 2012 at Concordia Hospital, Betty Friesen, beloved wife of Herman Friesen, passed away at age 73 years. Besides her husband of 53 years, Herman, she is survived by one daughter Sharon (Ken); one son Darren (Mechelle); grandchildren Melissa, Dusty, Evan, Garrett, Nyle and great-granddaughter Allison. Betty was predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Elizabeth Enns. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Braeside Evangelical Mennonite Church, 1011 Munroe Avenue with interment to follow in Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery. Viewing to be held on Wednesday, June 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, and at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.

  • Dear Mr. Friesen and Family, It was profound sadness that we hear of Mrs. Friesen's passing so late after the fact. She was a wonderful, caring, loving woman and the best care provider our boys could ever have had! The boys still reminisce about the years they spent with your family. We think of you often.
