SILVINA SANTOS

SILVINA SANTOS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Silvina Santos on June 18, 2012. Silvina will be lovingly remembered by Mercy, Lourdes, Ben (Luz), Adelicia, Idelfonso, Renato, Evelyn (Nandy) and Daisy; Grandchildren James, Jay, Joel, Jun, Kim, Jesse, Charlie, Leah, Kristeen, Christy, Cecilia, Oscar Jr., Sheryll and Kailla and numerous great-grandchildren. Silvina was predeceased by her husband Eusebio and her daughter Nelia. Silvina was born on April 6, 1919 in Salinas and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1976. She was a member of the Filipino Seniors Group for many years. She was a kind, gentle and generous person. She loved gardening, fishing, and visiting with her numerous apo . We wish to thank Carol, Ella, Precy, Susan, Wilma and Annie for their compassionate care given to Nanay and the ER staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their kindness to our family. Lamay will be held on Friday, June 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Ave. with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
