

THOMAS (ROSS) PATTERSON August 3, 1949 - June 19, 2012 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ross Patterson on June 19, 2012, at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home at the age of 62. Ross is survived by his wife Frances, son Jason (Keri), daughter Elizabeth, daughter Natalie, grandchildren Taylor, Payton, Ryann and Ben, mother Jean, brother Reg (Marlene), Rick (Leslie) and Rodger. He also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Thomas. Ross was born in Winnipeg and lived in Rosser with his parents and brothers until he met his wife and moved to Winnipeg. Ross was a truck driver for over 30 years, first working for Reimer then C.G.W.E. and ended his career at Penner International after suffering a stroke in 2007. Ross moved back to Rosser with his family to the farm , in 1998. As a boy Ross was in the boys choir and an active participant in the 4-H club western riding competitions, in which he won many ribbons. Ross' great loves in life were trucking, horses, leatherwork, the farm and children. The family would like to thank all the staff at Heritage Lodge for all their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lilyfield United Church, C/O Diane Blue, Box 22, RR2, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2E6.
