HARVEY KING

HARVEY KING June 8, 1932 - June 17, 2012 With his family by his side, on Sunday, June 17, 2012, in Penticton BC, Harvey was called home to be with his Heavenly Father, at the age of 80 years. Harvey is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, 10 months, Mary of Penticton B.C., two children; Dale (Pam) King, Shelley King-Ingram, granddaughters; Tristyn and Terina Ingram all of Winnipeg, MB. Sadly predeceased by son-in-law Jon Ingram, brothers; Clarence (Vicky) King, Edward King, and sister Violet (Jake) Gluting. Harvey was a Fire Fighter for 32 years with the City of Winnipeg and upon retirement worked at the Penticton Walmart for 11 years. He had a special love for his family, granddaughters and friends and will be sadly missed. The family wishes to thank the staff of the cardiac unit at the Penticton Hospital for their wonderful care and support. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Wheeler Funeral Home Cemetery Crematorium, 1800 Day St., Winnipeg, MB, with Chaplain Mark Young officiating.
