JOYCE BROWN

JOYCE BROWN (ANDREWS) (nee ROSS) August 1, 1931 - July 5, 2012 Peacefully at Kildonan Personal Care Centre, Mom passed away. She is survived by her son Randy (Dianne) Andrews, grandchildren Chris (Sherri) and Corey (Nicole), great-grandchildren; Bryce, Arlynn, Addison and Branson, and Scarlet and Sasha, as well as her stepdaughter Bonnie (Jim), their son Kellen (Courtney) and her great-grandson Oliver. Joyce will be missed as well by her brother George (Cabby) of Vancouver and sister Shirley of Winnipeg, along with many nephews and nieces. Born in Winnipeg, Mom had a very full and eventful life. Her first husband Vern passed away far too young and a number of years later she married Jack, only to lose him 10 years later. She was also predeceased by her brother Floyd and daughter-in-law Linda. Mom was a very strong and happy person but the death of her son Terry in 2011 was a definite major setback for her, one which she never fully recovered from. Many thanks to the staff at KPCC for their compassion to Mom during her time spent there. Special thanks to her dear friend and companion Cindy for her love and kindness. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. A longer obituary will follow in Monday's edition.
