MARY PANCHYSHYN

MARY ANNA PANCHYSHYN (nee BARHAM) 1923 2012 On July 7, 2012 Mary quietly passed away. She is survived by her sisters Irene Senyk (Peter), Anne Mazuroski (Charles), brother Ed (Jean), son Terry (Karen), daughter Marci Elliott (Robert Carmichael), grandchildren Lee (Krista), Rena, Amy, David, Bill (Meggin), Jonathan, and great-grandchildren Jack, Mischa, Sophie, and Billy. At Mary's request her remains have been cremated and a private family ceremony has been held. Our special thanks to the dedicated team of nurses and staff in Tower 5 at Deer Lodge Centre for their care, kindness, and support during Mom's stay and in particular during her final hours. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Winnipeg Harvest. I only eat dessert when I go out. You will be missed, Mom.   • Mary is someone who I have thought about quite a lot throughout the yrs. She was a great person, and had a kind heart, even though she was a foster parent and I was only 11 when I was in her care. I still remember the discipline and how to get things done proper without procrastination. She was truly the best foster parent I had, I remember the tea and gingersnap cookies after supper, and going to the lake. Mary will be missed. I'm sorry that I lost contact with her.
