



KARL SEIDEL January 7, 1929 - July 23, 2012 Peacefully after a courageous battle with a debilitating stroke, Karl passed away at the Portage District General Hospital, July 23, 2012. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rita (nee Pepin), his daughter Cheryl (Art) Windsor, his granddaughter Raquel (Daniel) Bloch and their children Noah and Arielle, his sister-in-law Doris and her children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Karl was predeceased by his parents Franz and Karoline Seidel, his wife Jean (nee Caryk), his brother Frank, and his sister Ann. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1125 Saskatchewan Ave. E., followed by interment in Fannystelle Cemetery, Fannystelle, Manitoba. The family wish to express our gratitude to the staff at Health Sciences Centre and the Portage General Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Catherine Newham-Portage Office, 103 Wilkinson Crescent, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 1A7.
