DENISE BILAN

DENISE MARGUERITE BILAN (nee MOREAU) Peacefully, on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the Gimli Betel Home, Denise Bilan, aged 82 years, of Matlock, MB. She is survived by husband George of 54 years; daughter Michelle (Bruce) and grandson Cole; son Mark (Naomi) and grandsons Tanner and Torrin; brother Rene Moreau. She was predeceased by her parents Edmond and Marguerite; and brothers Paul and Joseph. Denise grew up in Toutes-Aides, MB, and attended Normal School in Winnipeg. She began her career in Inwood, MB and later taught at Whytewold School. While in Matlock she met George, and he courted her at dances and at the Beach Boardwalk. They raised their family in Matlock, with Denise ending her career at Winnipeg Beach School. A Private Family Service will be held. A Mass dedicated to Denise at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Winnipeg Beach, MB will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gimli Betel Home Foundation. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
