MARY STUSKI

MARY STUSKI April 17, 1928 - August 7, 2012 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother and grandmother Mary Stuski on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Mary was born April 17, 1928, in Bifrost, Manitoba Municipality. She attended school in Okno, Manitoba. She then worked in Winnipeg Beach where she met Frank and soon married thereafter. They started a family and farmed in the Pleasant Home Area until their retirement when they moved to Teulon, Manitoba. Mary leaves to mourn four sons, Brian (Rick), Patrick (Lorraine), Michael (Donna) and Robert, daughter Connie Pearson (Kurt) and grandchildren, Tyler and Raelyn Pearson, Jason Stuski and Mandy Kowalchuk (Mark), Kyle and Jodi Stuski, Jesse Stuski and Carrie-Anne Boissonneault (Gilles), great-grandchildren, Travis, Kevin and Andrew Stuski, Amelie and Bodin Boissonneault, her brother John Hykawy (Joyce) Sisters Kay Luch, Tillie Gorman and many other in-laws, nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her mother Dora and father Tanas Hykawy her husband Frank and her beloved daughter Sandra Stuski, brothers William, Peter, Steve and Harry. Mary loved farming, quilting, planting flowers, canning prize tomatoes and cucumbers and many other vegetables from her own garden. When at the dinner table no one is left hungry. Mary was an active member of the ladies auxilliary at the St. Stephens Church in Pleasant Home, Manitoba. Prayers will be held Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 7:30 p.m., funeral to follow Friday, August 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., both to be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, Manitoba.   • To the whole family We are sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all . This is a little thing that we all remember about Auntie Mary and I would like to share with you. When we would come out to visit our family Auntie Mary would always make sure to have us over for supper. We could not refuse because she sure could cook up a delicious meal.
