JAMES DEMONTIGNY

JAMES ALEXANDER DEMONTIGNY July 8, 1938 July 27, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and brother. Jim passed away at the Abbotsford Hospital in British Columbia with his wife Violet by his side. Jim is survived by his loving wife Vi, daughter Wendy (Bob), granddaughter Dakota, sisters Lynn Connell (Dave) and Jan Moskal, brother-in-law Leon Trupp (Barbara), sisters-in-law Evelyn Neuendorff (Siegfried) and Gloria Liske, as well as numerous family and friends. Jim was predeceased by his mother Mabel, father Alfie and brother John. There will be a memorial service held in Winnipeg at the Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue on August 15, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., after which Jim's ashes will be interred in the Lasting Tribute Chapel at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

  • So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was a good friend of his sister Shirley. We all grew up together. I always remember Jim as being such a nice person who always had a smile on his face. My condolences go out to his family
