LISA AILEEN MOSHER 1991 - 2012 Tragically, August 5, 2012, Lisa Aileen Mosher. Lisa was born May 15, 1991 and is survived by her mother Amanda Mosher and her siblings Jessica Mosher and Kenneth Mosher. She is also survived by her gramma Cammie Boyce, her sister Amelia Finnbogason, her many aunts and uncles - Sara Mosher, Debra Mosher, Jim Mosher, Lisabeth Mosher, Phillip Mosher, Jim and Judy Boyce, Ken Boyce, Pattie and Doug Snare, Cathy Boyce and Ron St. Cyr, Glen Boyce and Jackie Pearse, David Boyce and Carol Kowalsky, and Colleen, as well as her many cousins. Darrell Dupont was Lisa's godfather and he too will deeply miss her. Lisa will also be missed by her best friend, lover and fishing partner Kevin Lupyrypa. Lisa loved Kevin's parents Glenn and Annelise and his brother Justin. Lisa's passing is an immense loss to them as well. Lisa loved animals of all kinds and had many different cats, dogs, rodents and fish while growing up. Her dog Charlie and her cat TC will also miss Lisa. Lisa was predeceased by her father Gary Boyce, her grandpas Kenneth Mosher and John Boyce, her gramma Connie Mosher, her Uncle Robert Mosher and her cousin Enrique Pearse. Lisa missed her dad so much and they are now together again. Lisa attended elementary and middle schools in Winnipeg, grades eight to 10 in Gimli and graduated with honours from St. James Collegiate in 2009. Lisa was beautiful, loving, funny, friendly, generous, thoughtful, outgoing, energetic and outspoken. You always knew what was on Lisa's mind! She was the defender of the underdogs, the underprivileged, the under-represented and anyone she thought was not getting treated fairly. She opened her heart to everyone she met. Her caring and quirky presence supported many in their times of need. Lisa was also curious. She always wanted to know the why of things. This was first evident in her growing up years where she and her brother Ken found themselves in some adventures trying to learn the whys and the how do things work of things. Lisa was looking forward to her first year as a licensed commercial fisher. Kevin introduced Lisa to fishing and she took to it instantly. She was so proud of her filleting skills and was getting better at it. Lisa's good friend Alyssa Bernardin also passed away along with Lisa. It is a tragic loss and the Mosher family is heartsick for the Bernardin family. It is especially devastating for Ken as he was also a very good friend of Ally. Thanks to the many volunteers and officials who attended. Thanks to the emergency staff at both the Gimli Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre for taking such good care of Ken. You're all such amazing people! A celebration of Lisa's life will be held at St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 291 Churchill Road, Winnipeg Beach, on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Beach Fire Department or in trust for Alyssa's son, Carson Kolisnyk, at any CIBC branch. I love you my little Lisee.
