MARGARET (PEGGY) GEIGER Early in the morning on August 13, 2012, our Aunt Peg passed away peacefully. She came to Winnipeg from her beloved England as a young war bride with her husband, Anthony. Tony and Peg bought a home in Charleswood, where they lived happily with their daughter Victoria (Vicky) until Tony's death, over 40 years ago. Peggy taught many young people at Marvel School of Hairdressing where she enjoyed her work for several years. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Tony, her daughter Vicky, her brother Peter, and by her sisters, Gwyn, Helen and Caddie. She leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews with their families in England and in Ontario. She also leaves to mourn her adopted family: Dorothy Lother, Curt Lother and Marie Giasson and family, and Carla Lother and Richie Stotts. We would like to thank the staff at Victoria Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital, Thorvaldson's Care Centre and Vista Park Lodge for their care over the last year. We also wish to thank members of the Giasson family, the Sumners family and the staff at Place Louis Riel. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made to a charity of choice. Peggy's favourite was the Humane Society. A drop in reception to celebrate Peggy's life will be held Sunday, August 26, 2012, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the home of Curt Lother and Marie Giasson, 42 Southfileds Drive, Winnipeg.
