MAURICE RIGAUX Passed away at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the age of 101 years, Maurice Rigaux, of Winnipeg, formerly of Swan Lake, St. Alphonse and Mariapolis areas. Maurice leaves to mourn his passing his sons Larry (Bon) Rigaux and Greg (Donna) Rigaux of Winnipeg, daughter Pat (Ron) Pettitt of Edmonton, Alta., three grandchildren David (Lauren), Tracey (Norm) and Christopher (Maggie), seven great-grandchildren Sarah, Carley, Ewan, Rufus, Keir, Luke and Samantha; sisters-in-law Juliette Rigaux of Winnipeg and Alice DeDecker of Mariapolis as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives. Maurice was predeceased by his wife Angele (nee DeDecker), grandson Douglas Pettitt, parents Arthur and Emma, brother Richard and sister Rachel in infancy, brothers Urselyn, Lucien and Remi, sister-in-law Yvonne Rigaux and a brother-in-law Marcel DeDecker. Prayers will held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Alphonse Catholic Church, St. Alphonse MB, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Father Francis Eworo as celebrant. Reception will take place in the St. Alphonse Parish Hall. Interment in the Mariapolis Parish Cemetery.
