RENE LAFOURNAISE

RENE LAFOURNAISE It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of René Charlie Lafournaise, husband, dad, and pepère on Friday, September 7, 2012, at the Health Sciences Centre after battling several lengthy illnesses. René is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lina, and two sons, Robert (Tania) and Jacques. He is also survived by his four grandchildren Kobi, Jena, Riley, and Aleksa. Left to mourn are, his brothers Jean (Jocelyne), Pierre (Mickey), sisters Colette (Larry), Irène (Maurice), Anna, and Rita as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents Napoléon and Donalda (Perreault) Lafournaise. René never let his illnesses keep him down. He fought them right to the end and his perseverance will be a lasting memory for all his family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the St. Malo Church with interment to follow.
