PEARL MARY ROSS (nee FOSTER) September 1, 1931 - September 11, 2012 Peacefully, in hospital, surrounded by her family, Pearl Mary Ross, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away. For Pearl, family was everything and she loved Jim, her husband of 60 years, daughters Karen and Chris, sons-in-law Glenn and Jim, grandchildren Christy, her husband Jamie, Glenn Jr, Kieran and Jimmy with all her heart. Pearl will be most remembered by the things that were created from her heart and with her hands. There was not a hand craft that she did not master, from sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, petit point, paper tolling and tatting. Every person in her life has a piece of her handiwork in their home. She was an artist in so many ways, and yet so modest as to not realize her talent. Born on a farm, near Somerset, MB, she was accustomed to hard work, being productive and making magic out of nothing. Her gifts of the heart will be cherished forever. From planting a garden, sewing on a button, baking an apple pie or wallpapering a room, Mom shared her wealth of knowledge and experience with us and taught us more than she will ever know. She passed on to her children and grand-children her unique wisdom and values. Always wanting the best for her family, always giving of herself, fiercely protective of those she loved; she was an amazing force of spirit that will be forever missed, yet with us always. Pearl's family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at the Concordia Hospital N3West, Emergency and ICU for treating her with respect and loving care. There will be a private family funeral service. In lieu of flowers Pearl asked that donations be made to Immanuel United Church Memorial Fund, 755 Golspie Street, or Cancer Care Manitoba. Till we meet, till we meet, Till we meet at Jesus' feet; Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca
