She also leaves to mourn five siblings, Albert (Edith) Deleurme, Hélène (Gabriel) Badiou, Germaine (Guy) de Rocquigny, Irène Deleurme (René) and Solange (Bernard) Balcaen; one sister-in-law Monique Deleurme and one brother-in-law Jean Dequier. Lucienne also leaves to mourn, Placide's two sisters, Hélène Lucier and Antoinette (Jean) Bonneteau; one brother Eugène (Jeanne) Gobin and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Placide Gobin in 2010; two sons, Gérald Gobin and Robert Gobin; one grandson Nicolas De Ruyver; her parents Joseph Deleurme and Maria (née Robitaille); and by one brother Arthur Deleurme. Lucienne was born the second child to Joseph and Maria Deleurme on April 5, 1936 at the home of her grandparents four miles south of Rathwell, MB. In 1938, Lucienne's family moved to the current home site on Hwy 244 where Lucienne remained until she got married to Placide Gobin on August 17, 1957. Lucienne and Placide took up residence on a farm north of St. Claude and started a family. Making a home for her husband and their six children is what made Lucienne the happiest. As the children grew up and left home, Lucienne moved to the Village of St. Claude and began a new career as a health care aide. It was at this time that Lucienne also learned to drive, an accomplishment she was very proud of. Lucienne was thrilled when her six grand-children started to arrive and again with the birth of her three great-grandchildren. Her grandmothers love proved to be just as strong as the love she had for her own children. At the age of 54 years, Lucienne was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease which she accepted with courage, a positive attitude and never a complaint. Whenever tragedy struck, Lucienne was a role model to her family with her positive attitude and strong faith in God. We will always remember you, mom, for showing us how to have a positive attitude, humor, courage, pride, unselfishness and most of all love. We will miss your many french "dictions" that you shared with us. You were a very special part of our lives.
