MARGARET JEAN MUNDRICK (nee PATERSON) Peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at the River East Personal Care Home, Margaret passed away at the age of 92 years. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter, parents Alexander and Agnes Paterson, her brother Bruce (Dorothy) and sister Marion ( May) Phillips (Gordon). She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Margaret was born on May 9, 1921 and raised in Winnipeg. She met Peter and they were married on April 13, 1949, residing on Ashburn Street for many years and enjoying sunny days at the cottage at Wendigo Resort. When Margaret was not working in the Stationary Department at Eaton's, bowling was her passion. Margaret bowled in a Ladies League and was also very active in YBC (Youth Bowling Council) volunteering her time to coach youth bowling which took her to travel to many events across Canada. She served as secretary / treasurer for many years and developed many friendships as a result. Margaret loved sports, especially her Blue Bombers and watching them on television or listening to them on CJOB. She lived very independently until her health began to deteriorate. Special thanks to the staff of River East Personal Care Home for the excellent care and compassion shown to Margaret during her stay. "Margaret kept us all in stitches and on our feet". She always had a great sense of humour. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has already taken place and a private family service has taken place. If desired, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of one's choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
I knew Marg during the heady days of Youth Bowling in the 70's and 80's when Marg was active in our sport through the Youth Bowling Council. She was always hilarious, and at the same time able to offer sober and successful solutions to problems. Our sport is diminished by her loss. - Posted by: Pat O'Callaghan (Bowling friend) on: Sep 28, 2013
Marg was a great friend and we will always remember her great smile and sense of humour. In her many years as a volunteer with the Manitoba YBC she was always there to lend a helping hand or to pass along her suggestions. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family on their loss. - Posted by: Bill Stuart (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2013
