LISA LYNN GOW With broken hearts we announce the passing of Lisa Gow (nee Swan), aged 37. She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 19 years, Doug and her two children, Rayna Patricia and Damon Richard Douglas. She is also survived by her father Rick (Pat) and her sister Kim. She also leaves behind an extended family: stepdad (Bill) stepsisters: Shelly (Rick), Kimberley, Leona (Manny), Patti (Ray) and stepbrother Mike and three beautiful nieces, Janessa, Taylor and Kianna as well as many other family and friends Lisa was born in Elmwood and lived here her entire life. She graduated from Elmwood High School in 1993 and was married shortly after. Lisa was a very quiet, shy, introvert with a huge heart. Lisa was a huge computer enthusiast, an animal lover and a sports fan. She was the official OSK for all softball games; something her and her husband loved doing together. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave Winnipeg, MB at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for Lisa's children Rayna and Damon. Donations can be made at any TD Canada Trust Acct# 65486423270.

  • I just arrived in Winnipeg for a visit from BC and heard this terrible news. Lisa and I were good friends in high school, and unfortunately lost touch soon after. I am so sorry to hear about your loss, Lisa was indeed a great person, we had a lot of fun together.
