Condolences & Memories (6 entries)
My sincerest condolences are extended to Shirley & The Dandeneau Family for the untimely passing of Ed. I had the pleasure of meeting Ed & Shirley in 2008 as a Neighbour in The Royal Palm Community, Palm Springs. I remember Ed as such a kind, gentle, warm, talented man that was always there to lend a helping hand. I am one of many, extending prayers to Ed, Shirley, and their family at this difficult time. May Ed rest in the peace of Christ. Michael Pasternak - Posted by: Michael Pasternak (Friend & Neighbour in Palm Springs) on: Mar 26, 2017
Ed was a respected, thoughtful and well-liked hotelier. We are grateful for the years of service he provided to Manitoba Hotel Association, and to the other hotels in Manitoba. We offer our condolences to the family. - Posted by: Jerry Weir () on: Mar 22, 2017
Our sincerest condolences to all the family. Ed was a lovely person and he will be remembered with kind thoughts and prayers. His gift for music that was so generously shared with others was precious. I remember Ed at his FB restaurant many years ago, bringing out his violin as a surprise to play for my elderly Dad's birthday! (Dad was a violin player too and this could not have been nicer!) Many blessings and prayers for you Ed and for your family at this time. - Posted by: Lynda Baker/Ron Sobkowich (Friend) on: Mar 22, 2017
We will miss you so much. Lorne & I called you the dog whisperer. When Koko would see you in your yard through the window, and if we wouldn't take him out to see you right away he would get so mad at us. Our little Oliver is the same way..... Whenever your friends, family and neighbors needed help with a project, you were there. Miss you Ed - Valorie, Lorne & Oliver - Posted by: Valorie & Lorne Harman (Neighbor & Fried) on: Mar 21, 2017
You are going to be missed. I will always have all the great memories of your awesome fiddling songs you would do with your family band. I especially remember when I was very young we used to all go to the house parties at Memere and Pepere Hudon's and dance the night away to your music on their hard wood living room floor. My condolences Shirley and family. Will be praying for all of you at this difficult time. Praise God HE has another worshiper in heaven. - Posted by: Anne-Marie & John (Cousin) on: Mar 20, 2017
The Les Dondoneau family is so saddened by Ed's passing. We have fond memories of earlier days and Les remembers how fun it was to go visit when he was young, with Steve and Elizabeth. They loved hearing Ed play the violin and all were so proud to share time with the Canadian cousins. We are thinking of you all with heavy hearts! Take care of each other. Les and Deb Dondoneau and family. - Posted by: Les and Deb Dondoneau (Cousin) on: Mar 20, 2017
