LOUIS (LOU) OLAF ANDERSON February 3, 1944 - May 2, 2017 It is with deep sadness that the family announce the passing our of our dear husband, father, and grandfather Lou Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Linda; son Michael, daughter Donna; grandchildren, Dylan, Samantha, Ryan, Dustin, Victoria and brother Raymond. Lou was born in Inwood, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg as a young man. He spent his entire career working in the HVAC industry where he made many friends along the way. Lou was always willing to lend a hand and was always there for family, friends and neighbours when they needed something. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix or a problem he couldn't solve. Lou loved fishing and enjoyed his special trips with the boys. In accordance with Lou's wishes there will be no formal service but a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Lou to CancerCare Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (5 entries)
This poem helped me when I lost my sister. I often read it from time to time when I am missing a loved one. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. by Mary Elizabeth Frye I'm so very thankful that I made the trip to Winnipeg two years ago to see my family. Although it was a short visit it was wonderful to have seen Auntie Linda and Uncle Louis, Donna, Kim and Donna' s kids. Life is precious and life is short. Make time for the ones you Love! You will be missed. Xoxox All my love Lisa - Posted by: Lisa Andersonhill McNall (Niece) on: May 17, 2017
