DOREEN DOROTHY ABRAHAM (nee BROWN) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother and grandmother, on Friday, May 12, 2017, at the age of 64 years. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Tom, her daughter Karen (Darren) Barnstable, one grandson Dylan, and extended family and friends. Doreen was born and raised in Winnipeg. In 1971 she met and married Tom, and eventually moved and raised their family in St. Francois Xavier. Mom enjoyed quilting, cooking and gardening and spending time with her family. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. and a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the St. Francois Xavier Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
