LOVERN DANIELS Our mom passed away on July 24, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. We hope she will be at peace as she joins her mother, our beloved Nanny, Katherine Scott, and her brother, our awesome uncle, Leonard "Lanny" Scott. She is remembered and missed by her daughter, Kelly Daniels and her husband Ric Reid; son, Brett Scott and his wife, Sajani Joykutty. Lovern will also be missed by her six grandchildren: Tyler, Aidan, Kalan, Julia, Jordan and Jacob. Lovern was a successful business woman who was fully committed to paving her own path whether as the booking agent for deep sea fishing lodges in South America, the Arctic and northern Manitoba or through founding LKD Sales where she was a manufacturer's agent in women's fashion. Mom was an avid sportswoman and was a member of the Winnipeg Canoe Club, back in the day. She loved curling and golf, fishing and duck hunting. She still holds a world record for her catch of a Pacific Sail fish. Lovern also loved travelling, real estate, shopping and bartering for the best deal, and she loved entertaining. She was well known for her "orphan" Christmas Eve Open House and her famous rum cake, where any and all were welcome. She loved her friends dearly and had many loyal ones throughout her life. She'll be in good company with Lorna, Eleanor, Jolly and Jane. A gathering of family and our friends to honour and celebrate the life of Lovern Daniels will be held Monday, August 14, 2017. Life is fleeting. We are all fragile. Mom, we hope you're at peace now.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I met Lovern through Caroline McCormack. Lovern was a wonderful person that taught me many things about life and business. We spent many wonderful years marketing Nu Skin and enjoyed lots of special moments sharing our trials and triumphs over a glass of wine. I fondly remember her and my heart goes out to her children, grandchildren and family who will cherish her memory. She was truly a wonderful person. May you rest in peace. - Posted by: Corrine Blackmore () on: Aug 12, 2017
