JAMES CLARK KELLY March 27, 1941 - August 3, 2017 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of James Kelly on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 76 years. Jim was predeceased by his father James, his mother Margaret (nee Myers), and brother Spencer. Jim leaves behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 44 years, Sherron (nee Unwin), their son Patrick (Jillian), two beautiful granddaughters that he loved so very much, Brooklyn and Ava; and six sisters, Geri (Jim), JoAnn, Pat (Conrad), Wendy, Nancy and Donna, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Norwood. He enjoyed playing and coaching sports. He loved coaching hockey, but his passion was playing golf, and coaching golf. He was a Certified Golf Instructor at Arnason's Golf Centre, where he made a lot of new friends who loved playing golf as much as he did. Jim's passion for family and friends was one of a kind; he had a big heart and he would do anything he could to see others happy, especially Brooklyn and Ava. The family would like to thank the staff at the Health Science Centre, 4th and 7th floors. Jim decided not to have a funeral or a memorial service. Just think of him now and again, and have a laugh over some of the crazy things he said and did, and know he is up there having the best round of golf he ever had. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's name to a charity of your choice. E.J. COUTU & CO. FUNERAL DIRECTORS 204-253-5086 ejcoutu.com
