GERRY DUECK September 27, 1949 - July 28, 2017 Gerry passed suddenly in Munich, Germany. Formerly of Rosenhof, MB, Gerry lived and worked in Beausejour, Paraguay, Winnipeg, and Meissen, Germany. He was a Salvation Army Officer. Gerry remained passionate for Jesus, for his family, and for life right up to his passing. He joins his dad and mom who reached Heaven before him. Left to mourn are his loving wife Blanca, daughter Lolita (and partner Henning), son Matthew, brother Roy (and Juanita), sister Lois, and many extended family and friends. A family service of mourning and celebration took place in Munich on August 2, followed by cremation. A special gathering of extended family and friends will take place on Friday, August 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Weetamah Corps of The Salvation Army, 324 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg. This will be an informal Come-and-Go, with fellowship and light refreshment around tables, and opportunity to share memories about Gerry. All are welcome. We love you Gerry and look forward to seeing you again in Heaven!

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
Hi Lois, I am so sorry to hear about Gerry's passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. My favourite memory of Gerry will always be of the fishing at Betulah Lake and the good sized fish I caught 2 days in a row. Love always Irma Nadeau - Posted by: Irma Nadeau () on: Aug 17, 2017
Our deepest condolences to you all. May God hold you all in the palm of His Hand during this rime of grief and loss.. There were many occasions when we had enjoyed your company. Remembering when you all stayed at our place in Saskatoon. The children were small and curious and anxious to visit many parks and attractions. We had so much fun! Mont and Mary Ann still talk about their trip to Germany. You graced them with wonderful hospitality. Gerry and Mont flattened a lot of coins, I hear. Some machines had a hard time keeping up with them. Love and prayers to the whole family. Shalom, Natalie - Posted by: Natalie Austin (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2017
