RENE GOUSSEAU It is with profound sadness that I announce the sudden passing of my beloved husband on September 6, 2017 at the age of 56 years. Left to mourn in Rene's memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Darlene (Juskow) and best and loyal furry friend Zoe. Also, remaining to forever cherish his memory is his mother Marie-Adèle; siblings, Richard (Anna), Normand (Alice), Michèle (Aimé), Carole (Gilles); numerous nieces and nephews; great-nephews; aunties; uncles and many good friends. Rene was predeceased by his father Robert; his in-laws, Mike and Cecile; brother-in-law Terry and special uncle Peter and baba Juskow. Rene worked for the City of Winnipeg Transit for 32 years until his retirement in 2016 and went on to work for Veert Landscaping until his passing. Rene will be fondly remembered for his guidance, kindness, love and devotion to his family and friends and will be in our hearts forever. The services to celebrate Rene's life will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivary Blvd., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers and donations, I ask that you take time for family, hug often and always remember to say "I Love You". THOMSON "IN THE PARK" 204-925-1120 Condolences may be sent to

  • Rene was an extremely good husband and friend to you, Darlene. He will be truly missed. Rene would do anything for anyone with his little smirk on his face. He was happy to help you out anytime you needed a hand. Rene, we never got to see you much but when we did come to visit you would always say, "can't you stay a little bit longer" and made you feel right at home. We will miss you, Rene. Take care up there in heaven. You will now rest in peace with the in-laws and your dad and say hi to Rick up there for us. :( Rene, May you rest in Peace.
