Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother Virginia. We first met in Brandon where we were active in the CWL at St. Augustine and when we moved to Winnipeg Virginia invited us for lunches. Lunches continued every few weeks with another friend where we tried the menus of different restaurants. We will miss her very much. - Posted by: Maurice & Dolores Blanchard () on: Oct 07, 2017

  • Virginia and I first met walking our dogs Taja and Cee Cee. When Cee Cee was gone she walked with me and Betty Boop. We occasionally had coffee many conversations. I teased her sometimes about being a ' motor cycle mamma' when she talked about riding on one with her husband. Virginia was full of life and never seemed to stop..she kept going and going and going. She was a very interesting and busy lady. I will miss her terribly. My condolences to her family.... - Posted by: Karen Freund (Friend and neighbor) on: Oct 04, 2017

  • I grew up and attended school in Menzie. Many memories of going to the store (Virginia and Marie's parents ran) for goodies. Saddened to hear of Virginia's passing. - Posted by: Shelley (Kotyk) Watson (An acquintance of the Labay family) on: Oct 04, 2017
