  • My sincerest condolences to Madeleine's family and loved ones. Madeleine was a kind and thoughtful mother figure to me when I was going through my own mothers battle with illness and untimely passing. She welcomed me into her home and like many others shared her wonderful cooking and baking with me. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. • Sincere condolences to Gail, Brian, Todd and families. Our memory of Auntie Madeleine is her desire to please from giving to her family and friends. We enjoyed her sense of humor along with her genuine nature. Her dish cloths were always a hit, not to mention her eagerness to impress with her delicious baking. Strength will come by remembering all of the lives she touched...ours being one of them. We thank you Auntie Madeleine. - Posted by: Debbie and Gary (Family) on: Oct 13, 2017

  • It was with regret that I heard of Madeleine's passing. Have such fond memories of this ever so gracious woman who aimed to please everyone. Her kindness and generosity were remarkable and admired by all who knew her. It seems to me that the whole town of St. Norbert loved Madeleine. What was there not to love? She was one of a kind. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her children and to my wonderful brother-in-law, Aurèle, who has inherited the outstanding Campeau traits. My thoughts and prayers are with you. • My sincerest condolences to the family of Madeleine. I have very fond memories of her as a little girl, eating her amazing food and sharing some unforgettable laughs. Since I could not pronounce her name when I was little, I would always call her "mad man" and the tradition continued until I last saw her in 2016 which still gave us some good laughs. To my Aunty Gail and Uncle Todd, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will take the wonderful memories we made so many years ago and hold them dear to my heart. Rest in peace Madelaine.
