She raised all of her children alone in a time when life was tough. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Whatever she had, she would give it freely. She showed her love by acts of kindness, like the good old fashioned food she prepared or the warm cozy mitts and socks she knitted with her gentle hands. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always managed to give a simple gift to every one of them at Christmas time. They all loved and adored her. She passed down to us love and caring and every one of us that she left behind will rise up and call her blessed. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor, yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children and her childrens children arise up, and call her blessed." "Lord Jesus, give her the fruit of her hands."
