JOHN PAUL BANASH Suddenly on March 15, 2004 with his family at his side Paul passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be dearly missed by his wife Joyce; daughter Charlene and sister Doreen Hale; mother-in-law Eva Chuhie; brother-in-law Chappy (Philip) and Cary Chuhie; sisters-in-law, Lorna and Alex Stelmaschuk, Anna and Richard Recksiedler, Valerie and Arther Recksiedler, Debbie and Ed Westphal, Theresa and Peter Lagodkin, and Patricia and Ian Wallis; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; as well as special friends Arnie and Darlene. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Eva Banash; his twin brother Peter and brother Leonard at infancy; father-in-law William Chuhie and nephew Kyle Recksiedler. Paul worked at Canada Metal for 20 years before its closing and was now employed at Buhler Versatile. Prayers will be said on Thursday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk with Father Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment to follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Walkleyburg, MB. Pallbearers will be Alex Stelmaschuk, Arther Recksiedler, Richard Recksiedler, Ed Westphal, Ian Wallis, Randy Chernetski, and Arnie Zimmerman. Special thanks to the first responders, Concordia emergency, and Dr. Macy, Dawn Barker, Shelly Anderson of MICU at St. Boniface Hospital. A very special thanks to Joyces mother, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law for their help and support.
