SARA FRIESEN February 1, 1920 - September 19, 2005 Peacefully with family by her side, Sara Friesen went to be with her Lord and Saviour. She leaves to cherish her memory many nieces, nephews and friends. Tante Sara was born in Altona, MB and moved to Paraguay not soon after. There she grew up and learned how to work, take care of herself and others, and how to love. When she moved to Winnipeg, MB in 1967 she made it a point to teach those things to others. Tante Sara will always be remembered by her hugs and kisses, her caring nature, her funny sayings, her unconditional love and the way that God's love showed so clearly through her and the way she lived. Tante Sara, thank you for the example that you have been to us, and the things you taught us. Wir werden uns niemals vergessen. Wir lieben dich Tante Sara, und wir sehen uns wieder bald. And like she always said, So geht es, und keiner versteht es. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay.
