ANN GORING (EMSLIE) With great sadness the family announces the passing of our wife, mother and grandmother on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the Grace Hospital. Ann is survived by her husband Garth; daughters, Tracy (Eric), Carla and Dawn (Ken); her six grandchildren, Eric, Ashlee, Christian, Robert, Sydney and Alex; sister Linda; brother Tom; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom's home was always open to family and friends as she loved to entertain. She spent many happy hours on her gardening and her crafts. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, attending Christmas concerts, curling games and baking cookies are just some of the memories they shared together. Our family wishes to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital, with special thanks to Dr. G. E. Mosher, Dr. Stephensen and Dr. Hamedani for their care over the years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. We love you very much.
