RUBY MADELINE FLOOK Peacefully and with dignity on November 26, 2005 at Concordia Hospital. Ruby was predeceased by her husband George on December 15, 1989. To remember her life, she leaves her son Tim (Nancy) and grandchildren Christopher, Andrew and Meaghan. She is also survived by a niece and several nephews. Ruby (nee Sansome) was born December 11, 1910 in Eversham, England. She met her husband George while he was stationed overseas. She came over on the last war bride ship, to be married in Winnipeg on June 27, 1947. Over the years she enjoyed sewing, painting, several trips back to England and spending the summers at Victoria Beach. She was also a long standing member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor nursing staff of Concordia Hospital for their support, care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 220 Helmsdale St., Winnipeg. Following Mom's request, a private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to The Concordia Foundation, 1095 Concordia Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2K 9Z9.
